How many days in advance should I submit an event booking request?
We require at least 14 days notice for your event proposal to book our Open Space East and/or West space. Giving yourself optimal time to plan and promote your event will give you the best results. We recommend that you book your event 30 days before the actual event date.
Do I have to pay a deposit? When is the full rental fee due?
For large event bookings (Open Space East or West), we require a $100 deposit to secure your event date on the calendar. Payment in full is due on or before the day of the event.
How do I get in to Impact Hub on the day of my event?
All event bookings (Open Space East or West) are assigned an “Event Lead” to conduct a walk through, let you into the space, and guide your team on successful setup and cleanup. Meeting room bookings in the Conference Room or Huddle Room are limited to our hosted operating hours (M to F, 9am to 6pm). If you have booked a meeting room in that period, please check in with a Community Lead at the front desk when you arrive.
Is there parking @ IHB?
Street parking is available for free or at meters in the surrounding neighborhood. We recommend St. Paul, Charles, North Ave, and 20th Street. The parking lot adjacent to the space charges $6 cash and can be paid at the cash box located on the old bank teller building. Since early 2019, we have not heard any accounts of people being towed from the lot. Please do pay nevertheless. The lot is not owned or operated by Impact Hub.
We are located near bus lines, bike lanes, light rail stops, and Penn Station. Arriving by bike, transit, scooter, or foot is an excellent option.
Do I need my own team for setup and cleanup?
Yes, please bring your own events team to help with setup and clean up. Your assigned Event Lead will do a walk through with you prior to your event to review logistics and answer any questions. You will sign a rental agreement for the space once your deposit is paid.
Can I use all of the rooms at Impact Hub on the day of my event?
You can only use the rooms that you have rented. If you do not book the entire space, there may be other events and meetings booked at the same time. Unbooked rooms are also made available for our coworking members to work.
How do I request a donation or discount for event space?
In order to obtain discounted or donated space from Impact Hub Baltimore your organization/ event must meet the following criteria:
- Event promotes equity in underrepresented entrepreneur and artist communities.
- Ability to demonstrate financial need.
- Ability to demonstrate unique offerings to the community.
- Ability to demonstrate the importance of your event as a crucial component to the success of your mission.

Impact Hub Baltimore donates three event rentals per month. Highest priority is given to initiatives that advance racial equity and economic opportunity. Organizations and companies focused on youth, women, people of color, community leadership, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, and social justice are encouraged to apply.
Impact Hub is a nonprofit which relies on earned revenue to sustain its operations. We firmly believe in being welcoming and accessible. Organizations and companies with a budget can contribute to our accessibility by renting the space at full or reduced cost. Please consider paying it forward when you can. Can I get the 50% Member Discount on an event rental if I am a brand New Member?
You will need to be a member for at least 30 days before you receive the 50% event booking discount. This policy helps to avoid membership sign-ups for the sake of getting an event discount. We encourage new members to join with the goal of becoming active and engaged in the Impact Hub community. Joining at least 30 days prior to your event will also help your event to receive the best possible support by our team and other members.
